Herb Smoked Pork Tenderloin with Stranahans Whiskey Sauce

3 lb Pork Loin

1 tbsp cloves of garlic Diced fine

1 tbsp julian basil leaves

1 tbsp thyme leaves crushed

1 tbsp rosemary leaves crushed

1 tbsp kosher salt

1 tbsp crushed black pepper

1 tsp crushed red pepper

1 tsp curry powder

1 tsp ginger

2 shots of Stranahans Colorado Whiskey

1 cup heavy cream



1Score the loin across the top

2Pour 1 shot of whiskey on the loin rub into the loin

3Mix dry the ingredients add to the loin rub into the


Smoking Instructions

1Smoke indirect heat @200’F until internal temp

2reaches 160’F.

3Let rest at room temp 15 min.

4Remove loin from pan and deglaze pan with 1 shot of Stranahans Colorado Whiskey

5Pour into small pot and add heavy cream

6Heat for 5 min and do not simmer!

7Slice loin pour sauce on loin, garnish with fresh basil leaves.
